The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process by which adults become initiated into the Catholic Church. The process is open to non-Catholics who wish to inquire about the Catholic religion; alienated Catholics who wish to return to full participation in the Church; and any Catholics who are searching for a deeper understanding of their personal faith journey in the Catholic Church. The process begins on the Tuesday after Labor Day and meetings are held weekly from 7:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. in the Parish Center. A team of adults works with the pastor to offer this process.

ADULT FAITH FORMATION

Adult Faith Formation and personal growth opportunities may be offered throughout the calendar year in the form of retreats, seminars, Bible studies, small group sharing opportunities, and parish mission events.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word is provided each Sunday during the 8:30 a.m. Mass. Children are dismissed from Mass prior to the first reading.  Volunteers are assigned on a rotating basis to take the children to the parish center where they have a lesson and activity geared to their age group

YOUTH MINISTRY

Activities are planned periodically for youth in grades 8 through 12.  The ultimate goal of any youth ministry is to draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community, and to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person.

As a main component of the youth ministry program, a youth choir is offered and minsters at the 6:00 p.m. Sunday Mass two times per month.  Email tcostello@littleflowerparish.org  for details.
