FUNCTIONAL FITNESS

The Little Flower Fitness Program began on June 28, 2011 on the Little Flower parking lot. Eric Strohacker explains the format as “constantly varied functional movement performed at high intensity.” It incorporates gymnastics (body weight exercises), plyometrics, Olympic lifting, weight lifting, and endurance exercises, and evolves as the participant gets more experienced. All ages and fitness levels are welcome.
The group meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. There is a small annual fee to cover the costs of equipment. The program is opened to members of the parish. The group meets primarily outside, so participants should anticipate working out in different climates.
